Sunflower

Sunflowers comes in different sizes, shapes, and color. What brought sunflowers into my mind was the color wheel because sunflowers are surrounded by the light blue skies, the lushes of green grass, white puffy clouds, and the colors that actually imitates the sun like red, orange, and yellow. I created the sunflowers to be different in which I google search and some of them are different sizes and color and interesting enough the pedals are representation of the sun's ray that makes the sun bright and that how I feel when I look at a sunflower. They are small in comparison but bright enough to see.

Inspiration of Piet Mondrian 3

Finally this is the last piece of my series and I thought I would go out with a bang! The size for this canvas is 16in x 20in and I really enjoyed laying the designed it is more rectangular and vertical and the spacing of the three colors are balanced. Every time if look at this design. It reminds of tiles by a pool or tiles on a table. It's something that I never would be able to do but it was simple and elegant.

Inspiration of Piet Mondrian 2

This is my second piece out of three in my series the size for this canvas is 9in x 7in. I really enjoy this piece very well, I love how the colors are more bright and the squares are more proportionally with each other and I enjoyed painting this and as well planning it out.

Inspiration of Piet Mondrian 1

This piece is my first out of three that are deeply inspired by Piet Mondrian and this painted with three primary colors consisting blue, yellow, and red along side with black and white. The designed that Piet Mondrian evolved is called neoplasticism which of having a white background with three primary colors and black outlines. It's representation for is a revolution against splatter paint or modern art to be more specific, in recent times at looking at modern I have been to fond of splatter paint and various paintings  I want to show that art is all about form and structure and not some senseless splatter on canvas and get away with it using their feelings. Oh the size of this is 8inx8in canvas

The Mountain Cross

Hello everyone! My name is Anthony Ramirez I'm a 19 year old first year in college and as you can see this wonderful design of a cross. The cross was a class assignment in my Design 1 class, for this assignment it is towards to Alzheimer's Association to raise awareness and research. The Element of the design for this cross has a variety of inspiration from Christianity and also the meaning behind it. The original design for this cross was designed to have a faded design having a dark blue to a lighter blue at the bottom and all around, but after doing that I decided to add white, but the white looked like mountains and mix the white and blue and structures to the "mountains" and also added grass to the bottom of it. For the second cross I wanted to be painted gold and for the gold is to represent royalty, Jesus being the King of Jews when he was crucified by the Romans and the white dove in the middle represents the Holy Spirit when he was baptize by John the Baptist. The design in the middle and above the dove was just extra and the marbles as well.
